Le Four à Chaux is set in its own vineyard and surrounded by many more. It offers open and covered terraces on both sides.
The great climate of this part of the Provence (most sun hours in France) invites you to stay outside all day, from daybreak till late night. Several well-equipped places have been created in the gardens for sitting outside. Shadow or sun, there’s always a place to relax.
The front side of the house is facing south. It consists of the main entrance, a flowered lawn garden, a French cour, an attractive swimming pool and a summer kitchen with BBQ. Restored old stonewalls provide complete privacy.
The newly build swimming pool is 11,5 long, 5.5 meter wide and max. 1,5 meter deep. It is partly tiled such a way that it creates a natural look to match the greenery of the surrounding gardens. Underwater lightning.
An adjacent plage for deck chairs, an outside toilet & shower and the pool house/summer kitchen with BBQ provide you with all comfort for sunny days.
There is a separate garage with remote control for one car and additional parking on the property for one other.
The large back garden with a terrace and pergola overlooks the Côte-du-Rhône valley and the ancient villages of Sablet, Séguret (officially recognized as one of France's most beautiful villages) and Rasteau. It has a great sunset.
The back garden connects directly to the owner's vineyard. It consists of 40-year-old vines that produce excellent red wine (Côte du Rhône, village Sablet). If desired the vineyard may be used either wholly or partly to extend the garden.
Both the vineyard and the gardens are professionally maintained. The gardens have some nice big trees and display a wide variety of Mediterranean plants and flowers all over the season.
